The Miserable State Of Our Union

No need to look any further than this blog to know the true state of the union. I’ve never been one to blame the President for all or even MOST of the ailments in America, but so goes the state of the democratic party and I feel I must follow. So it’s time to blame. The economy was in down shift when Obama took office, but let me just reiterate for the sake of time that though he was not the cause of such a huge downturn, he certainly was NOT the answer for any up-swing either. An opportunity was missed. Instead of focusing on the economy and citizen pocketbook relief, the President chose to spend more and manufacture a worthless health care plan that has proven to cost the American insurance carrier more money and not less. Not only do the economic guru’s look at this massive bill, as in you owe me money type bill, with angst and jitters, the anti-corporation sentiment from this administration has put a strain on entrepreneurs taking business risks in fear of grand daddy government sucking their profits. I asked a friend who is an Obama supporter and a big tax proponent, to explain to me what they would do with a million dollar bonus that they had earned hypothetically at work. Yes, this was a trick question because the person inadvertently spent the entire 1 million dollar amount. Then I said well you need to give something back because around 400 thousand dollars of that money is going to the government. Now mind you, this person was adamant about this being money that THEY earned. But I then reminded him that about 40% is going to the government. You bought a big house, but now that house is only half paid for and your vacation and savings just went bye-bye. Yes, democrats talk a big game when it comes to offering their money to the government IF THEY HAD IT….but when that money is real, the tune changes. This person was perplexed and even pissed that almost half of their money was sucked up in governmental grab ass. I understand the need for governmental programs helping the peeps, but let’s not fool ourselves into thinking the bureaucrats are spending our tax dollars wisely. There is so much waste that the average American would throw-up if they knew the real deal. It’s best that we are in the dark or we would all demand medical marijuana in our daily arsenals of Obamacare.
Obama missed the boat this Presidential try and I am confident that America knows that his focus was stringently misplaced. Thanks for the health care, NOT, but we can’t afford the high cost of groceries at this point. How can Americans purchase government offered health care when they don’t even have a job? You people do realize this health care is not free and is extremely expensive too the consumer? This plan did nothing for our pocketbooks and even less for our health. Oh it gave the government an opportunity to demand we eat more veggies like little vegan cult members, but better health care, jobs? No. Obama care sucks health insurance ass.
I am not sure where I am going with this post other than to say that the state of the union sucks worse than it did the last time we heard how bad it sucked under Bush. Any economic recovery at this point is because of the American worker and citizen tenacity. Please do not credit yourself, Mr. President with ANY recovery whatsoever. I blame you for the BS and I do not credit you for any up-turn Mr. President mainly because your spending bill did nothing and your health care plan was a detriment not a stimulant. You blew the opportunity of a lifetime mainly because your rhetoric was contrary to actuality. Tax breaks for corps would have been jobs. Jobs offered by Americans not the American government and this bothered your hero complex and power hungry philosophy. I don’t want to hear how you plan on “creating jobs”. The government should NEVER create jobs. Americans should. Stop trying to control the world and step back and let us take care of it. You need to create a friendly environment for businesses to thrive. Regulate the bastards and step back and let us steer this ship. Keep the brain waves on vacation like a good little President and let us ride this 2 month tidal wave before you “start” campaigning. It’s best for all of us. Stop doing President stuff for the sake of economic upswing. Hawaii is calling….go for it! Take a vacay….bah bye. Thanks for flying with us. Grope ya later, dude!!
And if you don’t do something about the way you whistle every time you say the letter “S”…..I am going to call Oprah and tattle on you. STOP THE WHISTLE! I am heading the campaign. Meet ya back here for a full assessment of the boring as hell speech. Snore.

I like to have background noise when I shower and do other daily annoyances, so I decided to leave FOX on the idiot box while I do my daily putter. The Glenn Beck show came on and I couldn’t help but listen to what seemed to be a hyper-active alarmist who made me want to go buy a tent, generator and a 3 year supply of Diet Coke and escape into the wilderness somewhere. Truly, I was scared. I am not shy about my less than enthusiastic impression of Glenn, but let me explain why I think he is dangerous. Yes, I said and I meant, dangerous….I didn’t stammer. Now don’t go postal Beck peeps. I don’t think Glenn is dangerous in the sense of bombing DC or anything, but he is creating a culture of “let me do your thinking and researching for you.” I have spoken to more than one Beck FAN that has asked me the same question more than once as though it was a legitimate reason to follow Glenn religiously. Number 1 was that he has a bigger staff than me and can research things and pass them on to us, the uneducated and retarded viewer. Number 2 was that he was honest and forthcoming in what said research offered to me the ignorant viewer. I stipulate that my job is not to dig deep into the happenings in Washington and beyond, but I’ll be damned before I believe everything a buffoon on TV says, I don’t care if it’s the Easter Bunny speaking. Glenn offers himself as a renaissance man knowing everything from what our founding fathers were thinking, to what is REALLY going on in the Middle East. For the record, Glenn is no professor of life, politics or otherwise and excuse me if I choke while you invoke the Glenn Beck source as though you were quoting the Bible. The information you spew from his show is on its face one sided and yes, slanted. Could it be that he presents to us, the viewer, with the things that support HIS point of view like all the other talking trolls on TV? I encourage all you Beckies to use Google a little more often and stop telling me that he is a one stop shopping mall of knowledge called Glenn Britannica. This is where the danger lies. When you all stop doing your own “research” and forming your own “opinions” is where you lose me. I get the whole time restraints and resources beyond our capabilities act, but always remember ALL MEDIA TYPES LIE AND DISTORT. End. Of. Story. Now don’t be a democrat and don’t worship Glenn until he earns it or you will be another Kool-aid drinking fool like the Obamakins

The “I Have a Dream” Speech

I don’t claim to be an expert on MLK or his philosophy. I do admire his “I Have a Dream” speech. Poetry and truth always flow well especially when delivered by a gifted orator. In the little research I have done on Martin, Obama was to a certain degree trying to be a TYPE of the leaders persona. Both men believe in the distribution of wealth for social betterment and often Obama tries to mimic Dr. King’s oration methods. The problem is that being President to white people and not just advocating for minority groups makes it difficult to adhere to a pure Dr. King ideology. Though I don’t think Dr. King would be as bigoted as some are in so-called “black leadership” today. I think Jesse, Al and a few others are dangerously off the Dr. King path. They promote superiority by touting a racial-centric cause and are as racist as Jim Crow. And I say that as a conservative white female who hates all people and not just some. Now that’s equality.
I’m not sure when Dr. King’s ideas became the Democratic party platform, but it was part of a movement in the 1960’s and the 2 married and had babies. To me it is difficult to reconcile the advocacy for human rights through pacifism all while demeaning the United States effort to rid the world of communism, the grand daddy of all oppression. Free our people, but do it nicely is not part of my genetic make up. Dr. King was very anti-war and more specifically anti Viet Nam war. Somewhat hypocritical to demand equality in the states and yet against US intervention to save a nation from Ho Chi Minh a brutal dictator. So the Viet Namese don’t deserve the same civil rights? MLK went so far as to say that the US was an “occupying” force in Viet Nam. Sound familiar? So many zombie hippies regurgitating stupid statements. But this does not define the Doctors work. He should be known and honored for his exceptional advocacy for ALL in this United States, the leader in freedom and equality.
Though Dr. King was stringently a socialist, I do admire his work as a civil rights leader. I don’t agree with all of his philosophies but does that mean we should throw out the baby with the bath water? Now that Obama has landed on the lap of Ronald Reagan am I to assume that he is now a conservative? I am pretty sure O is still a left leaning wingnut attempting to be an in the middle Democrat…with an appreciation of Ronald. Nothing more.
I find it arrogant and ego-centric to stake claim on any historical figure in America. I am an American and I can honor or despise who I want. If I want to honor Martin Luther and his work for civil rights, not just for “the negro” but for all Americans, then why can’t I? I did not know that lines were drawn around certain historical figures for conservative white people. Will I melt if I say the name Rosa Parks? As far as I can tell, Dr. King spoke about all Americans being free to seek their own determination and when Al tells me that I can’t do that, then that goes against what Dr. King taught, in my humble white opinion. Demanding that any white conservative refrain from honoring, quoting or invoking MLK’s teachings seems like an infringement on my civil rights. How does that taste Al? Freedom for some seems to stop at the door of their prejudice. Conservatives are innately racist, therefore should not kneel at the alter of equality. Bigotry rises again on the left. Could it be that we are all in favor of equality but differ in our deliverance?
I don’t speak for anyone but myself. I do get goosebumps and throat lumps when reading or listening to some of MLK’s speeches. I hope that is OK with you, Al.

Obama’s promises

What a joke this is. How in the world can anyone in their right mind bye into this?  The unemployment rate is almost 10 percent, way above the governments “predicted” forecast. We have the highest rate in the past 25 years of unemployed workers anywhere in the country  What happened to those  millions of  jobs that Obama promised us?  Can’t blame Bush anymore. This is happening on  The Big “O’s” watch, and he has to step up and take the blame..  But he won’t.
